I am SO excited to be posting something a little different and fun today 🙂 The wonderful ladies at Loverly recently contacted me to participate in their Dream Day Style Challenge. Loverly, for those who don’t know, is a bride’s digital BFF to help take the stress out of wedding planning! Filled with beautiful wedding day images of everything from hair styles to REAL weddings – Loverly is the spot to find the ultimate inspiration for your wedding day! So what is their Dream Day Style Challenge I am participating in? Loverly challenged me to style an ultra chic wedding dress! They provided the picture-perfect setting and I selected the dress I felt complements my chosen location! They provided me three locations… a beach wedding, a rustic chic wedding OR a city glam wedding. Naturally I chose the City Glam Wedding Backdrop 🙂 This is the photo as the inspiration to choose my dress and it was so fun designing a wedding day around such a beautiful location!

Nothing says GLAMOUR and ROMANCE to me like celebrating a wedding day with a busy city as your backdrop. In the middle of all that hustle and bustle, love is blossoming and growing somewhere. As a photographer, a couple’s location for their wedding day immediately tells me so much about the two of them and city weddings are SO special to me. They are not only in love with each other but the city that their love started in as well and want to celebrate in the places that mean so much to them. That truly is something special! When I think of a city I immediately think of the greatest city of all, Manhattan… and so my bride in my Dream Day Style Challenge is a New York City Bride! She is a woman who knows what she wants and wants to look nothing short of FABULOUS on her wedding day. And honestly if I could go back and do my wedding day all over again, I would SO get married in my favorite city in the world!
