I’m really happy I have this little blog of mine on days like today so I’m able to shout to the world a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my husband and just talk about all the things I love about him and what makes him my favorite person in the world 🙂 Today is Jose’s birthday!! This husband of mine is a very simple man who is not too crazy on birthday celebrations and never really has been but when he’s with a person like ME, someone who just LOVES to celebrate everything, he gets stuck with me making big celebrations out of it. Like that one time my sister-in-law and I threw a surprise party for him and his brother (their birthdays are two days apart!). Ooh that was fun! SO fun seeing the shocked look on the faces of two guys that are comfortable doing absolutely NOTHING for their birthdays. Or the time I treated him to a Mets game and our seats were behind home plate which was a DREAM COME TRUE for my husband, the die hard Mets Fan!

I just love this man with all my heart and because he always goes above and beyond for me, I like to really treat him to a wonderful birthday and make sure he knows just how special he is to me! 🙂

This post is for you Jose. Thanking you for the wonderful person you are, even if you are sarcastic and cynical I still love you for it and always will 😉 Thank you for loving me and taking care of me and our pets. Thank you for always putting US first and always caring about our future. Thank you for keeping me on track with my money, even if I get annoyed talking about our finances and get mad at you. Thank you supporting me endlessly in this business of mine and pushing me to strive for bigger and better. Thank you for dealing with me and my hot temper and for always trying to calm me down and preparing me for traffic or running late before we even get in the car. Thank you for enjoying Disney when we go and allowing yourself to fall in love with it, though I KNOW you don’t love it nearly as much as I do. Thank you for doing all the things I like to do and not giving me a hard time when I don’t like to do all the things you do lol… I promise I will try to watch more TV shows with you, faster 🙂 Thank you for always making me laugh harder than anyone else can and thank you for laughing at me! It’s good not to take ourselves so seriously and I’m glad we don’t. Thank you for dancing with me at weddings, taking me out to dinner, paying the bills and buying the dogs and cat food… I am forever grateful for you and everything you do. I wouldn’t trade anything in the world for you and our life together and just want you to know no matter what I am thankful for you and everything we have together 🙂
