I’m so excited to share Lisa and Scott’s wedding day today!! I met Lisa a few years ago when I photographed her sister, Christina’s wedding day. She joked on that day “Tina you are going to be my wedding photographer!”. At least I thought it was a joke until she got engaged and emailed me to photograph her wedding day! I was SO happy for her and so excited to see her again! As their wedding day got closer, suddenly the weather wasn’t looking great. Rain was in the forecast and the morning of the wedding, it was sticking. It POURED when we arrived to their houses. But inside? No one was bummed about the rain! Energy was high and everyone was excited that no matter what the weather was, Lisa and Scott were getting married!

These two were cool as a cucumber all day long – Not one second of stress about the rain. And it seemed like Mother Nature rewarded them for their calm attitude because we got a 45 minute break during the day – PLENTY of time to get bridal party photos and photos of the two of them! And as it started to rain, we brought them inside their gorgeous ballroom for a few extra photos. I knew their wedding venue was beautiful inside and out and we’d be okay if it rained but we got so lucky we were able to get outside for a majority of them! When all portraits were done, they were able to join their family and friends in cocktail hour! And when the dance floor opened during the reception, it was SO FUN to photograph! They had described their wedding day as an old school Italian wedding and when I think Italian wedding, I think FUN reception and theirs didn’t disappoint! I am so excited to share my favorite images from their wedding day! Lisa and Scott – congratulations on your beautiful wedding day!! You got your good luck rain and now I wish you nothing but endless love and happiness together!! 🙂
