I have so many favorite elements to Stephanie & Tom’s wedding day. Visually, this wedding was stunning! Stephanie & Tom had envisioned a wedding with an enchanted forest theme and since they love the outdoors together, they wanted everything to be inspired by the lush green of nature and with rustic elements. And I’m so happy to say they NAILED that vision! It was so beautiful seeing them surrounded by gorgeous greenery as they shared their handwritten vows to each other and the light gray suits of the groomsmen and the bridesmaids mint green dresses looked perfect next to them. (You KNOW I loved the mint green dresses!) The lanterns and mason jars at each table brought the outdoors in and the cake covered in ivy – oh my gosh, greenery was every where and it looked beautiful.

While their wedding day and all the little details they put SO much thought into was so beautiful, that wasn’t what made the day what it was. Stephanie & Tom’s love was what made the day so enchanted. Their first look was one for the books and is one I will never forget. Tom, like most guys, wasn’t absolutely crazy about the idea of a first look but he knew it’d be the best way for them to wrap up portraits before the ceremony and be able to enjoy their wedding day longer with each other. They decided to do a first look and add a twist to it 🙂 They would exchange gifts on their wedding day but it would be right before their first look, while they stood one either side of a tree. It was SO fun seeing their reactions to the gifts but it was even better when they finally turned around and saw each other for the first time. Tom’s reaction was PRICELESS and honestly, what every girl dreams of!! He gasped so loudly, was truly speechless and the both of them immediately were overcome by tears of joy. They held each other for what felt like an eternity and had Jose and I both in tears! It was SO special capturing them after that, they were just so full of joy. It was even better because their portraits were all in the exact spots (almost to the day!) that we took their engagement photos at last year! Parvin State Park was the PERFECT backdrop for this amazing couple that loves the outdoors – so many trees, a gorgeous lake. It all looks SO good together!!

Finally after their portraits, it was time to head to Running Deer Golf Club and watch these two become husband and wife. Oh man, there wasn’t a dry eye during their ceremony. Their handwritten vows were so beautifully written and the realization that these two were about to become one was so overwhelmingly wonderful! These two have already gone through so much together and it was amazing to see the excitement in their eyes as they exchanged their rings and vows for what is to come 🙂 And their first kiss was amazing – even after everyone had finished clapping for them, they were STILL kissing! So sweet. The rest of the night was spent celebrating these two with the yummiest buffet, an adorable candy bar set out all night long and then the perfect ending to a magical day – SPARKLERS!! All of their guests made their way outside and my gosh, it was SO easy taking these portraits of them! Plus their was an AMAZING full harvest moon out that night that lit the sky up! I just loved it all, even bit of Steph & Tom’s day, and couldn’t stop crying happy tears for these two.
