Best of 2014: Weddings

2014 is over and my heart is breaking a little over that. This year was SO amazing, I can hardly find the words to describe it. Here’s something a little crazy… it was busy as heck this year and we only had 7 weddings. Kind of nuts isn’t it?? We worked with 7 wonderful and amazing couples and now 2015 and 13 weddings (as of right now!) wait for us and that’s really exciting!! Looking back on 2014, I feel really spoiled. Our brides and grooms were simply incredible – beautiful venues, easy days that never seemed to ever feel crazy or rush and no sight of Bridezilla’s! (Actually I think those are a thing of the past now!) Our bride and groom’s were surrounded by wonderful families and kick-ass bridal parties and other awesome vendors that we feel really lucky to have worked with! This year was just phenomenal and I am SO excited for 2015 now! I also had the opportunity to second-shoot for the last time (that’s right – this is my official resignation from second-shooting) with some talented ladies that I’m lucky to call friends! Some of those weddings I haven’t even blogged yet so be on the lookout for those in the new year 🙂

Of course I have to give a shoutout to my amazing second-shooter but more importantly my husband, Jose. I’ve explained how fun and VITAL he is to me on a wedding before but there are no words to explain how honestly, truly grateful I am for him. I will never take for granted having you by my side through all of these weddings, giving up your weekends to shoot by my side and just being a trooper each and every time. I thank you for putting up with my mean-streaks and always do things “my way” and driving when I need you to drive because I’m just exhausted! I love love love YOU and am so excited to do it all again next year! Hope you are too 😉

To my couples – YOU are the reason you do this. Your happiness and love are what I live for and I aim for perfection for YOU. At the end of the day, it’s all because of you and I am eternally grateful you chose us to be by your side on your wedding days and capture your celebrations!
