It’s a little nuts when I really think about it but I met Dana THREE years ago when she was the maid of honor for her best friend, Alyssa, whose wedding I photographed. We immediately bonded that day and when I saw her a few months later in Jackie‘s wedding party, I’ll never forget she pulled me over on the side of the dance floor while she was dancing with Matt during the reception and said to me “You’re going to photograph my wedding!!” And three years later, she finally got engaged to Matt! I was so happy to hear the happy news and was blown away when the NEXT DAY after their engagement, as promised, I heard from Dana! 🙂 And now here we are – only a few months away from their wedding day! These two are two of my favorites and it was really incredible watching them from behind my camera – they are a SURE thing. You just know they are meant to be together. They chose their alma mater of William Paterson University for their engagement session and I loved the choice. College campus’ are simple but beautiful. We ended their session highlighting what they both LOVE – soccer! They both played, they both still coach soccer – it’s a passion for sure and it was so fun to bring that out in their photos! 🙂 So many favorites from this session, it was hard to choose just a few! Honestly, that makes me even MORE excited for their wedding day. It’s going to be beautiful! For now, enjoy my favorite photos from their engagement session 🙂
