Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. O’Keefe! It was a beautiful day on the lake as we came together to celebrate Alexa and Dan! It was my first time working at Lake Mohawk Country Club and it didn’t disappoint – it was a beautiful location. They both got ready that morning with their bridal parties and highly anticipated seeing each other. When they shared their first look in the sunken rose garden on property – Dan’s reaction did not disappoint. They instantly teared up at the sight of each other and hugged for what seemed like forever. That hug is magical. After that, I swear the day just flew by! Their bridal party looked amazing and their tiny bridal party cooperated for some ADORABLE photos too!

The O’Keefe’s sprinkled lots of nods to their heritages throughout their wedding day. They had an incredible three piece Irish band play music before the ceremony and through cocktail hour. Their gorgeous invitations had a beautiful custom painted liner nodding to Dan’s Irish heritage. After the ceremony, Alexa’s parents celebrated them with a personal Polish wedding tradition. And Alexa wore her mom’s cathedral veil down the aisle and my goodness, it was breathtaking! There were also lots of nods to the things THEY love. They both love Disney – in fact, Dan proposed to Alexa at Disney World! So she personalized her veil with a nod to Disney with the quote “a dream is a wish your heart makes” on it. And there’s also a hidden Mickey on her veil – and in her photos 😉

It was wonderful to see Dan tear up at the sight of Alexa during their first look and even again as she walked down the aisle to him in their ceremony. They exchanged their vows and rings and then – they were married! Dan was so excited he impulse grabbed Alexa, dipped her and kissed her as they walked down the aisle! And then again as they shared their first dance! These two are the perfect match for each other. They calm each other, balance each other out and just know exactly what to say to make the other smile. I was in awe of these two all day long and am SO excited to share my favorite images from their wedding day!!

Alexa and Dan – congratulations!!! It’s wild that I’ve known you BOTH separately many years ago and now together! You two are an incredible pair together and I wish you nothing but happiness and joy in your future!!
