I am SOOO excited to share Juliet & John’s wedding day with you today! These photos, this day, this couple… it all means so much to me! I’ve known Juliet for 5 years now!! She came to my rescue five years ago when my plan to have my husband as my second photographer wasn’t working anymore once I had my daughter. She helped me out SO much in that first year of working together and has been by my side shooting so many wedding days since then. And then 2 years ago, SHE got engaged!!! And a lot of our wedding days shooting together were mixed with talking all about HER wedding planning! And then she asked me to be her wedding photographer and it was just the honor of a lifetime!! Also – SO nerve-racking photographing another photographers wedding day! It was nervewracking AND easy, if that makes sense?? Like she knows what it takes to make a wedding day go seamlessly for a photographer so she had thought of EVERYTHING and knew EVERYTHING I was going to do because she basically is my second brain on wedding days lol BUT I also wanted HER to have the most amazing wedding photos!

Before she even got engaged, Juliet knew the vision for her wedding day and it was all things FALL! When Juliet and John booked their venue, they chose it because of the location. She envisioned the ceremony backdrop with foliage surrounding them and just knew it’d be perfect… but the foliage HAD to stick around long enough!! She picked the second to last weekend in October and for the next year we just prayed and prayed the foliage would pop and stay on the trees. And I swear, we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect fall day!! The leaves were INSANE! SO much of this wedding day was done by Juliet and John themselves! They made the centerpieces and picked each detail on the welcome tables and ceremony… she even customized their invitation to include their sweet dogs, Rocky and Maya! I just LOVED how much Rocky and Maya were actually a part of the wedding day! They were on the invitations and the signature drinks but also, they were the official doggy ring bearer and flower girl!! lol And stood up at the front with the bridal party during the ceremony… and did amazing! It killed me when Juliet walked down the aisle towards John and when he saw her, so did the dogs and they let out little whimpers of excitement when they saw her. It was such a cute moment!

At the end of the day, what mattered most is Juliet and John! They looked INCREDIBLE! I LOVED John’s suit – his velvety jacket looked amazing against all the foliage and Juliet looked like a dream! Her gorgeous blonde hair and her dress was just perfection, her entire look was so classic and timeless. Before John even turned around to see Juliet in their first look, he had tears in his eyes… but turning to see her there just solidified them. They shared their first dance with their family and friends cheering them on and the sparklers lighting up behind them! And they NEVER left the dance floor! They danced all night long and had a PACKED dance floor with them. It was actually scary that at times I felt the floor shaking underneath me lol I just couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day for them and I’m SO incredibly happy for them! Juliet and John, CONGRATULATIONS!! Thank you SO MUCH for letting me be a part of your incredible day!! I love you both and wish you nothing but endless love and laughter!!
