I am just in love with Samantha & Russell’s engagement photos because I feel like THIS is the epitome of fall engagement photos! Leaves on the ground, foliage everywhere, weather so cool you have to wear sweaters… their session is so dreamy guys! And what more could you want for your fall engagement session? These two are getting married next October so it all ties in perfectly together!

Russell proposed to Samantha on the boardwalk of Long Branch, where they live. And he had a photographer there to capture the proposal for them and then some photos right after! So they already had photos by the beach together… now it was time to switch it up! They picked the beautiful Cross Estate Gardens for their photos and although we had to reschedule our first date due to rain, it was well worth the wait! By the time we met up the foliage had popped and it was PERFECT! They are just SO sweet and cute together! I always start sessions asking my couples if they have any insecurities or anything I should know about… if they prefer to stand on one side over the other for photos… and they both shook their heads nope. Then Sam said “I don’t have a preference and he looks great from any side”. Que the awwwsss!! That’s all she had to say for me to see how much she just adored him 🙂 Little things are like might not seem like much but it speaks VOLUMES about how much they care for each other and how much she loves him! They’re just so sweet and happily stood in each pose I threw at them – and nailed every. single. one by the way! I love these two together and can’t wait for next October!!
