I’ve been looking forward to Alyssa and Zak’s wedding day ever since I photographed their engagement session! I instantly connected with Alyssa over emails but it wasn’t until I met the two of them in person that I fell in love with them! And that’s how they are – the minute you meet these two, you instantly feel comfortable and safe with them, like you’ve known them for years. They have a way of making anyone who comes into contact with them feeling that way! I loved getting to know them both during their engagement session and felt like I was laughing more then I was photographing them! And when they jumped into the ocean at the end of their engagement session, it told me EVERYTHING I needed to know about their wedding day! It was going to be one big PARTY and so FUN because these two are clearly down for anything!!

And that’s just what is was! Despite it being an insanely hot day, we made some serious magic with their photos because they were just in the best mood ever and so was their bridal party! Zak laughed through his vows he wrote to Alyssa – not because they were particularly funny (they were actually so sweet!) but you wouldn’t know that because he couldn’t read his handwriting and just couldn’t stop laughing at himself! lol And the dance floor was on all night long because they had a DJ AND band! NONSTOP music!!

But what I wasn’t expecting was how emotional the day would be. Almost immediately after showing up to Alyssa’s bridal suite and she was showing me all her details, the emotions took over. She just couldn’t wait to see Zak and marry him. And when they saw each other during their first look, they embraced and were suddenly just in their own world together. They shared the sweetest first dance together and at the end of the night, after a fun night of dancing and singing on the dance floor – share a last dance together too. I’m just so happy for these two and can’t believe how lucky I am to have photographed and witnessed such an undeniable love in person! Alyssa and Zak, hope you’re having an amazing honeymoon and I wish you nothing but the best for your future together!!!
