Taylor & Francis’ wedding day was a dream! Visually, it was absolutely stunning. You don’t even need to scroll any further to know that – look at her bouquet!! Taylor is a gardener so this bouquet was just perfect for her. Walking into their reception space, literally took your breath away. But besides being a visual dream, the rest of the day was amazing. Even though the weather was all over the place and NOTHING happened the way we thought it would, it weirdly all worked out for the best and ended up being the most incredible day? lol
Walking into this wedding day, there were a few things I KNEW. I KNEW Taylor and Francis would easily take gorgeous photos. I KNEW I could put them anywhere and they would look flawless. I KNEW they had a large bridal party and it would be a fun day and I was right! They had us cracking up all day long! I KNEW Taylor secretly planned for their sweet dog, Daisy, to make a surprise appearance during portraits, and thanks to their engagement session, I KNEW Francis was going to die over this! That was maybe my favorite part of the day – I mean, his reaction to seeing Taylor during their first look was absolutely wonderful but the way he reacted to seeing Daisy was so cute! lol He had us all dying along with him!
I also knew that two days before their wedding day rain was suddenly in the forecast. I KNEW Taylor & Francis were planning an outdoor ceremony (which was moved inside but was STILL beautiful!) and also planning to take her dad’s sailboat out on the Hudson River for some photos. BUT when the time came we all knew being stranded and possibly getting soaked before the ceremony was not a risk worth taking. Sigh… but the boat was there ready to go and when we had no raindrops, we took advantage of the backdrop, and not a lot of people can say they had even that opportunity when getting married at Liberty House so we’ll take it!
Lastly, I knew this day would be beautiful. Not just because of the stunning couple or the luscious florals or fun details everywhere. But because these two are such an amazing couple together. Because their personalities are radiant. You just immediately fall in love with them when you meet them individually and then together, they can’t be stopped. My heart melted as they exchanged their vows during their ceremony and I watched Francis barely take his eyes off his wife the entire time. The way she held his hand through toasts. The way they embraced as they shared their first dance. I just love these two and their love and can NOT wait to share my favorite images from their wedding day with you today!! Taylor & Francis, congratulations on an AMAZING day!!! I wish you nothing but endless love, laughter and dancing together! 😉
