This session was SO LONG in the making! I actually looked back at my emails to see how long it actually has been since Ashley first reached out to me and it was back in 2020!! We had to keep rescheduling their engagement session due to SO many reasons… being sick, the weather! FINALLY the stars aligned, the forecast cooperated and we got to finally take Ashley & Brian’s engagement photos! And in less than 2 months they’ll be getting married! lol

Ashley & Brian are planning a summer wedding day at the Sussex County fairgrounds so taking their engagement photos at Cross Estate Gardens just made sense! Lots of flowers and greenery, it would all tie in perfectly together when they looked back on their photos. Since their wedding day is so close, this was a perfect date night out from all the final wedding planning they are doing! They got to walk around the beautiful garden, take their mind off all that wedding plannign for a bit and hug and kiss each other. You don’t really realize that those little hugs and kisses are something you don’t really do a lot as a couple until you HAVE to do them for photos, right? lol So it’s always a little strange at first doing so much of it… but by the end of their session, they didn’t mind it at all! They even had the chance to practice their first dance! 🙂

I’m so excited to share their engagement session on the blog today and even more excited to be seeing them again very soon – this time when they become husband and wife!! Enjoy my favorites 🙂
