Engagement sessions are just SO special right now, especially when you’ve been trying to schedule one since the beginning of a global pandemic! lol I was supposed to photograph Natalie & James way back in March but COVID had other plans for us so we had to move it back until things were safe… luckily, the wait was WELL worth it!
I met Natalie & James in a small park in Doylestown, not too far from where Natalie grew up! Her mom is actually the one who suggested we do photos at this park and it was such a hidden gem! I LOVE shooting in Pennsylvania because all the buildings and architecture look so much more old-fashioned and traditional which adds so much to the session alone. But the real stars are obviously Natalie & James! These two have been together for 5 years and finally, last November, with the help of a few of their closest friends – James proposed to Natalie! She was completely surprised and said YES! 🙂 And next March they will be getting married!
It was so fun getting together and FINALLY celebrating their engagement with some fun photos! This park was small but there was no shortage of great spots to choose from. And when I asked if they were ready to begin, they said they were a little nervous because they don’t take too many photos together. Uhm… why is it EVERY TIME a couple tells me that they are even MORE perfect in front of the camera!? I couldn’t believe how comfortable these two immediately looked, how genuine their smiles were the entire time and how EASY it was to photograph them together! I LOVE their photos and can’t wait to share them with you today! Natalie & James, I will see you guys in March on your wedding day!!! 🙂
