End of summer engagement sessions are my favorite, especially when they are by the water! Something about the way the sun sets a little earlier against water just makes photos so much prettier and couples GLOW! Megan & Colin spend a week every summer in Lavallette. It’s the perfect little beach town for a getaway! This year was a little bit more special though because this year they are engaged!

After being together for 7 years, Colin proposed to Megan this past July where it all began… on the outdoor basketball courts of their college where they met. I LOVE proposals where it’s just the two of them together having that incredibly special moment 🙂 She said yes and wedding planning begun! And since they were already going to the beach for vacation, why not take some photos there too?

We met at one of my favorite secluded spots in Lavallette – a spot they had never even seen before in all the times they’ve been there! We met right before sunset so it was PERFECT lighting, perfect weather… everything was just wonderful! I loved getting to know them, hear all about their wedding plans and photograph their sweet love. These two warned me they had never had their picture taken together so they were a little nervous but you’d NEVER know from these photos! They just naturally were comfortable together 🙂 I’m so happy for these two and can’t wait to share my favorites from their session today with you!
