Our last wedding of the year has come and gone… but man was it a good one!! Dana & Matt have been together for 9 years, I’ve known her for 3 years and 3 years ago she told me I would photograph her wedding – and the time finally came!! Dana & Matt got engaged earlier this year and planned this wedding in record time and it’s amazing how beautifully it all came together! The colors, the details, their sweet ceremony and sparkler send off into their FUN reception… you couldn’t have imagined a better wedding day for these two! We’ve been so excited all year long that we were ending our wedding season with these two because we knew it’d be on a high note! Dana & Matt felt no nerves, just excitement. As she got into her dress, it all started to feel REAL. And when Matt turned around and saw Dana standing there in the park, looking absolutely amazing, there was nothing but the BIGGEST smile on his face! The smiles never left their faces, despite it being absolutely FREEZING by the lake while we took their portraits! Dana was such a champ, barely wearing her shawl while she was out there in the cold – what a trooper 🙂 Their reception was at the gorgeous Wilshire Grand and what a FUN reception it was! 4 sweet, meaningful toasts, two sweet parent dances that had everyone surrounding them on the dance floor in tears followed by tons and tons of dancing! The day FLEW by, we couldn’t believe how fast it went! I’m so so happy we were there to celebrate with these two! It’s been a long time coming but it was the BEST way to kick off their marriage together. Dana & Matt – we LOVE you guys!!
