Gabriella & Mike had planned a rusic fall wedding day with simple florals, whisky barrels and lots of wood everywhere. I remember them explaining all of this to me when we met and to see it all together on their wedding day was magical! They DIYed so many of the days details – from the beautiful old doors in their ceremony space to the signs pointing guests to all the fun. The barn at Perona Farms was the PERFECT back drop for everything and the barn itself looked like something out of a dream decorated in twinkle lights and long tables! It was a HOT day for the end of September but they were all troopers! Gabi and Mike shared their first look in the shade of a silo at the barn – and it was SO fun seeing both of their faces light up at the sight of each other! We photographed them and their Bridal Party in the shade as quickly as we could to get them inside and cooled off before they stood outside for the beautiful ceremony. Once the time came for them to become husband and wife, all of their guests celebrated them with little mason jars full of tequila and fruit punch (uhm, YUM!) The guests enjoyed family style dinner in the barn and after dinner, that dance floor was NUTS!! We just love these two to death and had such a blast with them and their friends and families, even it was 95 degrees that day!!
