Our 5th full year of business was our busiest yet – We photographed 25 beautiful weddings this year, with our last on New Years Eve. What a way to end this incredible year of special and memorable weddings! I am so thankful for each and every one of my couples that chose me to photograph their wedding day and I’m just so honored and lucky to call this my job! This year we traveled all over New Jersey to capture weddings in each and every season (a first for us!)… we started in April and ended in December and we shot weddings everywhere from gorgeous country clubs & aquariums to outdoor barn weddings & grand ballrooms! This year was filled with so much more variety than ever before and we loved each challenge and new opportunity that came our way! And that even includes the CRAZY elements. This may have been our hottest summer EVER and it was brutal some wedding days but our couples are CHAMPS! (And luckily, they didn’t judge us when we were sweating profusely lol)Â There were also days where it suddenly would DOWNPOUR and totally threw our portrait time for a loop but again, our couples know how to handle every situation with a smile and we made some serious magic happen in those moments!
Not only were we spoiled working with wonderful clients but so many awesome Bridal Parties, sweet parents and AMAZING vendors that made each wedding day so much more enjoyable and fun! A HUGE thank you to Jose for being there each and every time to help me capture these gorgeous days, put on the grooms men’s boutonnieres, carry my bag for me, fluff the dresses and make the veils fly. And a big thank you to our third shooters this year, Laura and Emily!! We had so much fun with you both and hope to continue sharing many more of these beautiful wedding days with you!! This was also the year we were lucky enough to work at mostly new venues and we LOVED all of them! From the W Hoboken to the Palace at Somerset Park and Nanina’s in the Park – we LOVED all the new venues we discovered this year and can’t wait to work at SO many of them again this year! 🙂
This is always the longest post of the year but with TWENTY FIVE weddings this year, I’m afraid it’s even longer than ever before!! I scrolled and scrolled through every single wedding folder and you guys… I TRIED not to go crazy but I chose close to 400 IMAGES!! Don’t worry – I culled it down even more for this post! lol These are my absolute favorite images from each and every wedding day we shot in 2016 from stunning details, to hilarious Bridal Parties, gorgeous brides and handsome grooms to memorable reception and ceremony moments. The portrait shots where I shrieked “THAT’S IT!! THAT’S THE MONEY SHOT!!” & the moments that make me tear up just thinking about them. Yummy cakes, hilarious “what just happened?” moments and those rare moments where EVERYTHING just came together to create the PERFECT photo for our couples. Some moments you’ll look at and think “why is this special??” and those are the photos with the true MEMORIES behind them! The ones where I remember EXACTLY what everyone was feeling in that second and how lucky we were to have captured it! And those are the moments why we do what we DO! I will forever cherish this year and my couples. I’m grateful for each and every one of you and wish you all a lifetime of never ending love and happiness 🙂

And then so many very special first look moments with Bridesmaids, parents & grandparents. I hope this continues in 2017 – they are always so fun to watch!!
