Every year right before the New Year begins, I like to look back not only on our year personally but our year in business, in both engagements and weddings. It’s amazing to me how quickly the year goes by and before we know it, we are completely wrapped up and looking back at it all. Where does the time go!? Looking back at this years engagement sessions, I’m so amazed by all the different places my couples have brought me. We shot at high-rise rooftops in New York City, college campuses in Pennsylvania, the prettiest beaches and vineyards in New Jersey… even Washington D.C.! In fact, that’s where my engagement sessions started this year 🙂 All of it with the fondest memories. I photographed so many gorgeous engagement rings and even so many furry friends! 23 engagement sessions in total this year. WOW! That is a lot! Some of these couples tied the knot in 2015 and most of them have an exciting 2016 to look forward to! But I loved spending time with each and every one of these couples, learning more about them and creating wonderful memories along the way. I always have SO many favorites from my engagement sessions and what makes it a favorite varies. It can be the composition was perfect or I just loved their prop or their emotions in the photo… there are SO many things that I look at and think “yup, that’s it for me” and it’s hard to narrow it down to just ONE from each session so I did not do that. This post is CRAMMED with my favorite images from each session and sorry but not sorry! I love them all and am so happy to share them today! 🙂
