If someone asked me to sum up Meredith & Adam’s wedding day in one word, I’d pick the word JOY. There was so much JOY on their wedding day, radiating off the Bride, Groom, their parents and their bridal party. And I have to give serious props to their AMAZING bridal party. We arrived at Lake Valhalla Club after their wonderful ceremony to a lake full of people and the sun BEAMING down on us. It was insanely hot, we had people bringing us glasses of iced water left and right. Since the members of the club were all out enjoying the lake, we had to go over to the only spot that wasn’t crowded… which had practically no shade and nothing but sun. Now I dare you to look at the bridal party photos and even guess it was that hot. They LOOKED flawless! Everyone was such troopers, they even kept coming up with ideas for photos! I SO appreciate a Bridal Party who will suck it up, sit in the sun and do anything for their amazing Bride & Groom. And this was a BIG party… 9 bridesmaids and TWELVE groomsmen! But that is a testament to who Adam and Meredith are. Two people that are so fun and genuine, they just want ALL the people they love right by their side on their big day.

Meredith & Adam carefully picked all the details of their wedding day to represent who they are as a couple. From the colors and flowers the girls chose to having the lake and sun in their photos (remember their engagement session? They LOVE the lake!) Lots of subtle, nautical details everywhere.. from the rowboat oars on their invitations to the anchors on the personalized mason jars they gave each of their guests, as their favors and to drink out of all night. And one of my favorite colors, navy, was EVERYWHERE… from the linens at their reception to the bridesmaid dresses, even the earrings and shoes Meredith wore. She had a lot of “something blues” 🙂 SO many fun details to photograph. Little details like that make me giddy on a wedding day 🙂

But their reception was one heck of a party! The party started with all the sweet dances they shared, together and with her dad and his mom. Always love those moments on a wedding day. Than the AWESOME toasts came, first from Meredith’s father than from the best Man and Maid of Honor – all of which had the entire room laughing hysterically and doing lots of “Awwws”. And than the dancing started and it never stopped. This dance floor was PACKED!! At one point, I could feel the dance floor completely shaking. It was SO FUN! My favorite part was seeing circles formed around Meredith & Adam several times as they danced with their guests surrounding them. Everyone was SO excited to celebrate them! I think a lot of the credit has to go to the AWESOME band they chose to provide the entertainment, the Joe Baracata Band! The dance floor was PACKED!! It was such a fun wedding day that went by way too fast but I’m so excited to share my favorite images from their big day with you today 🙂
