I can’t say it enough times. You know what is REALLY fun? Hearing someone say they do not like taking pictures because they never look good or feel uncomfortable and aren’t photogenic… I LOVE when my couples say that to me because they very quickly ALWAYS prove themselves wrong! Jose tagged along with me to shoot Claudia and Ken’s engagement session in their adorable neighborhood of Park Slope, Brooklyn and I didn’t share with him that Claudia told me that until we were done. His shocked reaction was PRICELESS! “Are you serious?? She was NERVOUS?? But she was SO great in front of the camera!” He never in a million years would have thought they were nervous about their shoot. Claudia & Ken are getting married next month in a small, intimate ceremony in Brooklyn with just their closest friends and family and I am so excited to capture it, especially when they showed up dressed so adorably for their session! Their looks were so coordinated and complimented each other SO great I can only imagine how fantastic they are going to look on their wedding day! I loved getting to know Claudia and Ken in their shoot and learned a few new things about them! Like, that they LOVE Sunday Night TV just as much as Jose and I. Once that topic was brought up, all we could talk about was TV! Of course once Real Housewives was brought up and Claudia and I got lost in conversation gossiping over those crazy ladies, it made me love her more because I didn’t feel so crazy, like Jose makes me think I am, for loving those shows 🙂 Not only that but they LOVE Top Chef like me and Claudia’s favorite chef ever is one of mine too! (It’s Dale, in case you care to know!) They even gave us the scoop on how good all his Brooklyn Restaurants are and raved to try them.

It just felt by the end of the shoot like we had known them forever and made me ten times more excited to spend their wedding day with them in a few short weeks! I hope you LOVE this session as much as I do because I just love me some city engagement sessions 🙂 It was so fun exploring Brooklyn with them and watching their love shine through this session. Seriously, they are the cutest!! Enjoy! 🙂
