It truly is amazing when the universe aligns and everything just comes together perfectly. Meghan and I follow each other on Instagram and have bonded (on Instagram!) over our shared love for all things Disney! Well, it just so happens we were both planning trips to Disney World this past September at right around the same time. After sharing with Meghan how I was just DYING to shoot a session at Disney and how it has been a HUGE bucket list item for me, she enthusiastically said she’d be up to do it! I can’t even begin to explain how excited I was! Even more so when Meghan told me why her and her husband, Corey, were traveling down to Disney in the first place. They were celebrating their 5th wedding Anniversary and they haven’t had ANY photos taken of them since their wedding so why not!? It was just PERFECT! After figuring out the logistics we made it happen and she was just as sweet in person as she was in emails and Instagram! (By the way, you can find her on Instagram @affableolive ) But Florida IS unpredictable when it comes to weather and sure enough, the morning of their session, it was POURING! Jose and I had been at Disney all week and not once did it pour like this but of course on this morning, it POURED! There was no way to postpone this… I mean, we are at DISNEY! That’s the reason why we are doing this session in the first place. So we made it happen! I’m hoping this is the first and last time I will ever shoot a session in a downpour but they were so AWESOME about it! We started at Boardwalk Inn which is just the perfect backdrop for photos, rain or shine 🙂 Get ready to fall in love with them and their adorable, colorful session!

Meghan warned me Corey wasn’t really into getting his photo taken ahead of time… hmm… somehow I got him to smile a LOT in this session 😉

Even if it is raining, the boardwalk is STILL so romantic looking!

We than made our way to Downtown Disney to photography Meghan and Corey at the gorgeous new Starbucks. Why Starbucks?? Well.. Corey proposed to Meghan at one back home! It’s so meaningful to them and I love that we were able to tie that into their shoot 🙂

The fire turned on right at their feet and everything suddenly felt so warm and cozy on this rainy day 🙂
