There is so much to love about this session. Not only the gorgeous location they chose, not only the fact that it’s an early fall wedding… but this amazing, gorgeous couple. Can you believe they were nervous about this session? I don’t think you’d believe me at all if I said that because you will quickly see these two are NATURALS in front of the camera. Honestly, I think looking into each other’s eyes the whole time is what made their session ten times easier for them. It’s a weird thing to take engagement photos, I’ll admit it, but these two are pros! I fell in love with Courtney & Ted’s love story and quickly fell in love with them when I met them – they were just SO excited to plan their wedding day. I remember asking them what they were most looking forward to on their wedding day and Ted simply said, “I just want to dance!” What a GREAT response. That told me so much about what to expect from their wedding (I think it’ll be one serious party!) and I can NOT wait to celebrate their wedding day next June – I just know it is going to be a beautiful and emotional wedding day!
Courtney & Ted are getting married in the summer so they decided on taking their Engagement Sessions in her favorite season, the Fall! It was the absolute PERFECT fall day too! Not too hot or cold, just right. They chose Willowwood Arboretum as the location for their session and I loved it for a number of reason! It was full of lush gardens of flowers EVERYWHERE which made it so colorful, it was HUGE with a million different spots for us to take photos and it was QUIET… It’s always really nice to shoot somewhere that’s not crowded at ALL because it makes a couple ten times more comfortable having their picture taken! Plus they are just THE cutest. You are going to fall in love with them and their session, I promise π
Courtney & Ted – I had the best time with you both and seriously can’t believe I have to wait until next year to see you two again!! It’s going to be an AMAZING wedding day and I can’t wait! π I hope you love your photos!
