There really is nothing like celebrating Holidays at Disney World. Everything is over the top, extremely fun and well-done which means it’s the best planned party you will ever attend! There are a few things going on every Fall at Disney World and we knew planning our September trip that we wanted to go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. We’ve celebrated Valentines Day and Christmas time at Disney World so lets add Halloween to the list! Well it did not disappoint. In fact, it was probably the BEST TIME we’ve had celebrating a holiday than any other time! (And that’s saying a lot because I LOVE christmas way more than Halloween!)
We took lots of pics on our vacation a few weeks ago but I wanted to share what celebrating Halloween at Magic Kingdom is like! The fall is one of the best times to go to Disney for a number of reasons – cooler weather (well, florida cool!), kids are back in school so fewer lines to wait on and overall less crowded AND celebrating Halloween! 🙂 I was in LOVE with the Halloween decorations at Magic Kingdom and even in the middle of September it put me in the mood to celebrate!
Always a happy sight… the disney world railroad and train station! Real pumpkins too!Â
It was a perfect night at Magic Kingdom for the party!
One of the highlights of the party is Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade! An AWESOME parade (and really, how awesome can a parade be? lol) but we loved it! And we are still singing the song from the parade!
I absolutely LOVED how the colors of Main Street changed with the parade… and they had everything from Villains to The Haunted Mansion themed floats!
They were BLASTING all different types of Halloween songs down Main Street and it was uplit in spooky Halloween colors all night! SO fun!
The other must do at the Halloween Party is watching the fireworks show, HalloWishes. It was UNBELIEVABLE! None of these pictures will do it justice but it was an amazing show!
This is in the middle of the HalloWishes finale… we were surrounded by fireworks going off!
We made sure to visit our favorite ride, The Haunted Mansion, during the party! It was WAY BETTER during the party! All the cast members were way more into their parts and it was glowing beautifully – and look! a talking ghost was outside entertaining the line of guests 😉
I would HIGHLY recommend visiting during September or October and attending the Halloween Party! That’s all for now.. have a magical day! 😉
