June was my very first official month running my photography business FULL-TIME and it was definitely the best month to do so! It was such a busy month – three of my brides chose to do their engagement sessions in June, I did some traveling down to Virginia for my amazing coaching session with Katelyn James [more on that very soon!] and I’ve just been keeping myself busy editing quickly, working hard and pleasing my brides as much as I can. Also, shooting a wedding in Cape May! My family has vacationed to Wildwood and Cape May for as long as I could remember. I took as many moments as I could when I arrived and before I left to just stand on the beach, take it in and promise myself I’d be back again. That was SO nice 🙂

June also brought my husband and I both GREAT news and something we have anxiously been awaiting news about for MONTHS! He has a permanent position at his jobs’ corporate offices! This is HUGE for us considering this is what his career dream goal is to do and more importantly, to get him out of retail. He texted me the amazing news while I was with Katelyn & Casey and I just couldn’t contain my excitement! I wanted to cry right there! We told ourselves early in the year that 2014 is the year we HAVE to make our dreams for our careers happen and get it all situated before we can start a family or buy a house. NOW it has come true… for both of us!! It really is such an exciting moment in time for us 🙂

June was pretty awesome! Now it’s OFFICIALLY the summer time and it’s time to enjoy this gorgeous, beautiful HOT weather we have been having [after this horrible winter we had, you will NEVER hear me complain about how hot is it outside. Are you crazy!?] July is looking to be a LOT quieter and laid back, which is welcoming. I’m looking forward to a lot! A quick vacay away, shooting a lovely wedding in Upstate New York, celebrating the 4th of July & hopefully lots of fun and exciting weekends with Jose 🙂
