When I received the first initial email from Kristin this past October, I instantly knew she was my bride. It was just this gut feeling I had that we would instantly connect. I emailed her back about me & my services and 5 minutes later, she emailed me again! That first day alone we exchanged about 6 or 7 emails and instantly connected! Meeting her in person was even better! We spoke about her wedding day, how she had almost everything already planned out and her wonderful fiancé, Jesse, was letting her make it the perfect wedding day she always wanted. Jose & I met with Kristin at a Starbucks just a few blocks away from her and Jesse’s apartment, but only with her because he had been traveling that morning and she didn’t want to drag him along to a meeting in case he was tired. But halfway through our meeting, I see Kristin look at the door of the Starbucks with her jaw dropped and the biggest smile ever suddenly appeared on her face. I looked at the door, saw a tall handsome man walking in smiling directly at her and I KNEW this was Jesse! And he surprised her by coming to meet with us, even though he had just gotten home a few minutes earlier! She was ecstatic and hearing their plans for their wedding day together was even more special!
I feel as though I had been waiting YEARS for their wedding day to come… and now I’m so sad it’s over! It has been so fun planning and prepping for this wedding with Kristin. I felt like I was not just her photographer, but her wedding planner! I loved all our emails back and forth over the past few months, prepping her timeline, meeting up with her and her mom to view all our locations and when the day came – it was absolutely perfect. An outdoor ceremony in April means there is a 50/50 shot of it raining… and it was BEAUTIFUL weather when we needed it for their portraits! But just as their ceremony was starting to wind down, the rain showed up and fast! They finished their perfect handwritten vows, slipped on those rings and ran inside to celebrate with their guests, who were such troopers and sat in that rain to watch them become husband and wife! And with the amazing Posh Entertainment as their DJ’s – you KNOW it was one heck of a party! From start to finish, Kristin & Jesse’s wedding day was just magical and I am so happy I was there to capture it all for them! And I seriously cried like 4 times throughout their wedding day! (I’ll list them all below don’t worry lol not ashamed to say when I cry!)
Kristin and Jesse, I love you both so much and am SO happy for you! Thank you for making me your photographer and for allowing me to spend this amazing day with you! I hope you love and cherish your photos for years to come and wish you nothing but the best in your marriage 🙂 Enjoy the blog post!
And family and friends, feel free to leave comments on the blog post and share your love for them! 🙂

Kristin had such a fun group of Bridesmaids! 🙂
Jose, my wonderful husband and second shooter, went to capture the guys for me!

Can’t get enough of those shoes 🙂
LOVE this photo (above) and look at Kristin’s STUNNING mom and her dress!
I could have photographed those shoes all day long 🙂
AH! Loved this! At the EXACT time Kristin’s dad saw her for the first time in her dress, Jesse’s mom saw him getting all dressed up!!
First Look time!!
They were so cute! Him checking out her shoes, her checking out his watch she gave him 😉

AHHH! Can’t handle how gorgeous Kristin is! This belongs on a canvas!
Lovely little details in the Ceremony!
Kristin walked down the aisle to “Follow Through” by Gavin DeGraw and I just lost it and started crying! Especially when I was standing next to her mother and grandmother and heard them gasp when they saw her and the music kicked in. Such a wonderful moment! I tear up now just thinking of it!!
“Oh… this is the start of something good, don’t you agree?” [a line from the song 🙂 ]
Here came the rain! They kissed several times then RAN! 🙂
Photos from generations of beautiful marriages in their families before them…
The reception room was GORGEOUS.. and so PINK!!
Jesse is a doctor so of course he is one on the cake topper 😉 And notice Spiderman sneaking in on the cake? An ode to their first date!
Posh DJ’s and Mikey B! We all know how much I love them by now 🙂
Such a fun first dance to You & Me by Dave Matthews Band
Next time I cried… watching the father/daughter dance. Her father instantly burst into tears… and then she brought in her mom for the rest of their dance!
I can’t even explain how much I CRIED during the mother/son dance… I could barely take photos, I was so emotional! Why? The song they danced to was “Somewhere Out There” from An American Tail (the mice sang it and all!) It was the first movie Jesse and his mom saw together and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! I love this version of this song to begin with and used to cry as kid watching this part of the movie… add in a beautiful wedding dance and I’m just a MESS!!
Had to wipe all my tears away from all those beautiful dances to photograph the sweet toasts from Kristin’s sister, her maid of honor, and Jesse’s best man, his brother. Lots more crying!
Ok… no more tears! Time to PARTY!!
Love LOVE these photos of Jesse, his new wife & his family all dancing together 🙂
Posh DJ’s kept the floor PACKED!!
They are just the cutest!
Took lots of photos of these two… because I’m photographing their wedding day in July!! YAY!! 🙂
Venetian hour and all the yummy desserts.. especially those italian cookie cakes 😉

And my favorite moment of the night… Mikey B fulfilling their request of hearing a LET IT GO remix – and it bringing down the house! (check my instagram @tinaelizabethphotography for a video of it!)
