Hello all! Long time, no blog. I’m not going to lie… I’ve been taking advantage of having very little work to do for as long as I can because my wedding season is about to start next weekend and it is going to be crazy. Weddings, engagement sessions, lots of traveling and driving from state to state to get to some of these weddings. Nuts! But I’m excited ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite things ever. I don’t just like things, I LOVE things. I find myself to be very passionate about things I like, that’s just the Scorpio in me, and one of the things I love is simple indulgences. Nothing too crazy like a full on spa day (though I’ve already made a promise to myself that once my wedding season is over and done I am treating myself to my first-ever SPA DAY! I’m excited already!) but just the little things in life that truly satisfy me. That’s why I love nail polish, champagne, fresh flowers and lattes so much. They aren’t big purchases but really do make me SO much happier when I’m enjoying them ๐Ÿ™‚ I know my husband’s has his little indulgences too! Nothing lights up his face like ice cream, new BluRays & some hoppy IPA beer.ย Everyone’s got their indulgences, right?

One of my FAVORITE indulgences is getting my hair blown out. Just a simple blowout… no cutting or coloring my hair, just leaving the salon with a fresh bouncy hair style ๐Ÿ™‚ I absolutely love it and before a big event, I always like to treat myself to one. My head shots all over my website and social media is all thanks to a fabulous blowout from my favorite blowout spot, The DryBar! Ladies – if you have not tried the DryBar yet, you do NOT know what you are missing! It’s fabulous. Only $40 (in NYC) for a blowout that includes a wash, magazines, a girly film playing on TV and champagne to sip on as well ๐Ÿ™‚ Seriously, it’s like this spot was made for me. And look at that blowout! (below)

This is a place I highly recommend going to if you are going out for a big date with your fiancรฉ or husband, having your photos taken for your Engagement Photos or heading out for a girls night out, like your Bachelorette Party! I’ve treated myself to DryBar for my head shots, for my birthday and just booked my appointment for our Anniversary Photo Shoot next week with the amazing Abby Grace (eek!) I’ve posted pictures on Instagram every time I’ve gone and have loved my blowout each and every time. They use Moroccan Oil products, as well as their own line of products which can be purchased in the salon or at Sephora!

I can’t recommend this place enough ๐Ÿ™‚ Brides – be sure to treat yourself either with your mom, girlfriends, bridesmaids or just because! Have a fabulous blowout for your Engagement Party, Bridal Shower, Rehearsal Dinner or Bachelorette Party! You can even have your Bachelorette Party AT the dry bar! Whatever you do, make yourself to indulge yourself always ๐Ÿ™‚

I live outside of Athens, GA. We’re supposed to be having a dry bar open up soon, but they also offer similar services at my salon. That place is my favorite place to go relax.
