Hello Brides! I have decided to start this series titled “For the Bride” here on my blog to answer all the questions I seem to be getting a lot from Brides. There is nothing wrong with having lots of questions…That’s okay! Planning a wedding is a brand new process to you, you’re SUPPOSED to have questions. So to be more helpful to all my brides I’m writing a series of posts, like this one, where I’ll be able to answer all your questions and show you in detail what goes along with them. I hope to cover everything a lot of my brides [and grooms] seem to have questions about including engagement sessions, first looks, timelines, family portraits and so on.

I’m so happy and blessed I get to work with such amazing couples in my business but I know how overwhelming a wedding day can be. I was a Bride myself once πŸ™‚ Besides picking and choosing your vendors, once you select your vendor you want to make sure you are both on the same page and you each understand how a wedding day is supposed to work. Luckily for my brides – I’ve done this before and can offer my tips and insights into making your wedding day go as smooth and easy for you & your groom as possible! Not only that but I want my couples to get the most out of ME as their wedding photographer. I always encourage my brides whether it’s before or after they book me to ask me each and every question they have and to let them know it’s okay to have them! I hope this series of blog posts [which will be up and continuing throughout the year] will help make your day go better, planning feel a lot LESS stressful and put your trust in me that I will make sure your day is as enjoyable as possible!

Today’s post is all about your Frequently Asked Questions! These are the questions I seem to get at every client meeting and what most brides just want to know about me and my services.

What are your prices? My base package starts at $3,900 and it goes up from there. I simply offer two packages that include what most brides look for but packages are customizable to add items in or take out to better fit your wants, needs and your budget.

Do you have a second shooter? All of my packages automatically include a second photography, my husband. If my husband is not available to shoot on your wedding day for any reason whatsoever, I have a second shooter equal to my style of shooting to take his place. Second shooters don’t add or subtract any money from my packages and I automatically include them to make sure we are getting the maximum number of pictures on your wedding day. You wouldn’t want to have just me shooting the bride and the girls getting ready and no one photographing your groom right? πŸ™‚

Do you do any re-touching? All images are hand-edited by me but NONE are photoshopped or altered in any way to look unnatural or retouched.

How long after our wedding day do we receive our photos and how many? You should receive your wedding photos in your PASS gallery within 8-10 weeks of your wedding day and ready to print! Typically the amount you will receive is anywhere between 2,000 – 2,400 images. Β For engagement photos, anywhere between 400-600 images. Guys – I overshoot and am VERY generous with the amount of photos you get delivered to you πŸ™‚

Do we have the rights to our photos? You have 100% of all the rights to your photos and are not required to print through your PASS gallery, or through me. You can download your photos straight to your desktop or computer and are free to order prints from wherever you desire. However, for high-quality prints or products I do recommend ordering from your PASS gallery or me πŸ™‚

Do you offer products such as canvas’, albums and thank you cards? I do! Some of my packages already include albums – any extra albums or different size albums can be added to ala carte. Canvas’ are also available to add on to a package or purchase separately, as well as larger prints and thank you cards.

We are clueless as to how to put together our wedding timeline! Can you help us? Β Absolutely! Wedding timelines are my absolute favorite to put together and I do that FOR YOU. All I require from you is the locations and details of your day and I will do the rest. If you are not sure where you would like to do portraits or a first look, I am happy to help take care of that for you as well.

We don’t want an Engagement Session. Does that affect the prices on your packages? Unfortunately, taking Engagement Sessions off my packages does notΒ effect the price as they are complimentary. I highly suggest you take your engagement photos with me for several reasons. So you are comfortable with me, so you are comfortable in front of a camera before your wedding day and who wouldn’t want photos of the two of you just being yourselves, engaged and in love? πŸ™‚ Doesn’t answer your question enough? I will touch upon this in a separate blog post real soon!

What do you require for a deposit? I require 50% deposit of your total package price to hold your wedding date and book me! The rest of your amount is due 2 weeks before your wedding. If needed, we can make up a payment plan for you.

Do you shoot more than one wedding on our wedding day? The beauty of Tina Elizabeth Photography is it is just me shooting every single wedding, with my husband of course. We are not a studio and don’t send out associate photographers to shoot OUR weddings. We are there to shoot each and every wedding day so we only take one wedding a day. If we are booked for your wedding day, we’d be happy to recommend a photographer for you with a similar style to us πŸ™‚

Do you travel and have a travel fee? I absolutely LOVE to travel and have no fear of planes here! A travel fee applies when roundtrip travels exceeds 200 miles. Anywhere within New Jersey & New York do NOT include travel fees. I have photographed couples in Chicago, Baltimore, Florida, Pennsylvania, Connecticut & I would absolutely LOVE to photograph your out-of-state or destination wedding πŸ™‚

I hope this post was really helpful to all my brides and for any future brides as well! Be sure to check back on the blog frequently for more posts like this, specifically made for you – and if you have any other questions, I’d love to hear them in the comments section πŸ™‚
