There is a lot that is so exciting about changing EVERYTHING about our business into MY business… and at the same time, there is a lot that is very scary. It’s officially MY business. I’m the only making all the decisions for the business, it is all looking the way I want it to look [which means it’s okay to be girly! YAY!] & it is reflecting ME. When we first decided our business would become MY business.. I knew I was NOT going to do this alone. I was going to hire a professional to design not only a new, fresh blog for me but an actual website! Do you know how much it bugs me that I can’t send any of our clients or prospective clients to an actual website? How professional is that? When I found Krista & her AMAZING work, I knew I had found my girl! Everything she has done is so clean and fresh and exactly what I needed – not only that but it seems like she just NAILED every client she ended up working with! I was so excited to get the process going when we we started chatting and exchanging emails.

One of the scariest parts of this rebrand was when Krista asked me to start a Pinterest board sharing anything and everything that I loved and wanted to come out in my brand. I was so nervous to do it! I didn’t know if it would all end up being cohesive or not or if she would see who I was as a photographer in it. When she sent me the first few logo designs, I could NOT believe it! She did it! She NAILED ME!! And when we finally narrowed it down to the final design, and it became real, I felt like crying. It feels so great to have a look and brand that defines me and captures me so perfectly. When we selected the final logo and color scheme for Tina Elizabeth Photography, I went back to that Pinterest board I made for her to see where she pulled it from… and it was all there!

There are a few things I notice right away from this! Lots of different colors… but the same colors over and over again. Yellows, mints, bright reds, greys and whites. There are also stripes EVERYWHERE!

And lots of flowers! Did you notice that? It wasn’t until she sent over my logo that I even realized that… I LOVE flowers and actually wanted that in my brand? I didn’t even catch that at first! The final logo was just amazing to me… but what I love even more? All the OTHER elements to the brand we are using! The font, the colors, the watermark… AHH!

If only you knew how many times a day I stare at this photo Krista sent me! lol I LOVE my brand colors, I LOVE incorporating stripes, I LOVE my little stamp logo – and of course my big beautiful logo! It all feels so ME and is just perfect 🙂 I am so excited to be showing off the brand new website and blog very soon! Along with new business cards & a name change to our Facebook page. Yes, A LOT is changing but it’s all for the better!

Can’t wait to share the final product soon!
