I loved meeting up with Melody & Blake at Sayen House & Gardens a couple weeks ago! It was a HOT summer night and it was so humid, it was hard to hide the humid fog from my photos at times! And add in two happy puppies that were so excited to be a part of their photos, I swear the heat gets hotter! lol But I am so proud of their adorable dogs, Spot & Kaiya, for behaving SO nicely and smiling so perfectly for my camera! After the doggies went home, I walked around and got to know Melody & Blake better. Blake planned the most AMAZING proposal to Melody! He proposed at their apartment and they went to Tiffany’s to pick a ring… that doesn’t sound like much but don’t worry, this is where the story gets GOOD! lol They then went into Manhattan and to the New York Public Library where Melody found a book hidden WITH THE RING hidden in it in a Cracker Barrel box! If this sounds familiar, it’s because he got the idea from Breakfast at Tiffany’s – which just happens to be Melody’s favorite movie! WOW! How special is that? I am SO excited I get to be their photographer next year when they get married – it’s going to be BEAUTIFUL! And hopefully way less humid!! lol Enjoy my favorite images from their engagement session!
