Not many people can say they got married in the middle of a heatwave but Kelly and Anthony are two of the lucky few that can! The funny thing is… I KNOW it was crazy hot when they got married. It was 105 degrees to be exact… yikes! But by the end of the day, that was the LAST thing I remembered about their wedding! Everything else is what sticks out in my head.

Kelly and Anthony have been together since their freshman year of high school. They are theatre geeks (it’s okay – I’m a theatre geek too so I can call them that! lol) They love seeing broadway shows together but were also in their high school shows together! Fun fact – they actually got married on stage in their production of “The Wedding Singer”! These two were always meant to be! They had said that since they’ve been together for so long, they’ve always felt like they were already married and now it was just going to be official! But when Kelly looked out the window and saw Anthony standing there, ready for their first look, she couldn’t hold the tears back. Suddenly, it was real.

I think their first look was my favorite part of their day. The minute he turned around and saw her, it was over… he gasped, he welled up as he exclaimed “you look so pretty!!” and they stood there, holding hands, crying. It was the sweetest first look!! And as she walked down the aisle towards him, the tears came right back. It was such a joy to watch them become husband and wife and watch all their friends and family be SO excited for them! They put SO much thought into their wedding day for their guests and all the tiny details too! Everything was unique and personalized by them! They put together the adorable jars of honey the guests took home at the end of the night. Their signature drink was actually a beer brewed by the best man himself! They designed their newspaper programs and their seating chart! They did it all! By the time all the speeches and dances were done, they jumped onto the dance floor and NEVER left! That is… until I spotted a rainbow after a quick rainstorm and just HAD to steal them away from the dance floor for some photos! 🙂 We had the BEST time celebrating these two all day and night long and I’m so excited I get to share it all with you on the blog today!!
