It’s always so bittersweet to photograph my final wedding of 2018 but that’s why I love wedding photos – we get to relive the wonderful day over and over again! Nicole & Anatole are two of the sweetest, sincere, most fun people you’ll meet. They compliment each other perfectly and the minute you meet them, they make you feel as though they’ve been your friends for years and years. It sounds like something you’d say about anyone but it’s true of them – these two are genuinely so warm and inviting and together, even more so! When they talk to you, they make you feel like you’re the most important person in the room at that moment. I photographed Nicole’s sister Dina’s wedding day two years ago and we instantly got along! So I was absolutely THRILLED when I saw she had gotten engaged on Facebook… then even more thrilled when she contacted me only a week later asking me to photograph her wedding! It’s such a joy to be able to see entire families all over again and celebrate the wedding days of siblings together, that is one of my greatest joys in this business 🙂 Even more of a joy is getting to photograph my couples which their awesome bridal parties! Nicole & Anatole had a pretty big bridal party and thanks to less than ideal weather, we couldn’t take their portraits outside but we got creative inside the gorgeous Olde Mill Inn for their portraits and I LOVE all of their photos because of it! Guys, indoors really can be gorgeous too! 🙂 After their sweet first look and portraits came their ceremony and wow, what a ceremony! Two of Nicole’s friends sang love songs and showtunes as guests entered the ceremony and the ceremony itself was so heartfelt and special. Original poems, bible readings & more were spoken by their closest family and friends and it was even officiated by one of Nicole’s bridesmen, who did an AMAZING job! They held hands and shed a few tears as they exchanged vows and rings and when it was time, they were finally pronounced husband and wife! My FAVORITE part was hearing all the guests ring the bells they handed out to everyone as they walked down the aisle – I love some crowd participation 😉 And then the party at the Olde Mill Inn got started! I LOVED the way they kicked off the traditions because after each traditional dance, a mini dance set followed! So the crowd was always on the dance floor and I LOVED that idea! And after the sweetest toasts by their parents, family and friends, (including Nicole’s sisters who showed the sweetest video and photo montage of their lives together so far and oh man, EVERYONE was bawling! of course including me lol) the reception kicked off and WOW! I will always remember this party! I’ve never heard a crowd of people sing SO loud, jump so high and have the BEST time ever like this crowd did! They came to have a good time and I think they all did 😉 I know Nicole & Anatole did! I’m SO happy for these two, who deserve nothing but the best, and that’s just what they had – the best wedding day! Congratulations Nicole & Anatole!!! Thank you for making my last wedding of 2018 one I will NEVER forget!!
