Most Brides & Grooms don’t want to stress on their wedding day and just want their day to be fun and to just go with the flow… but Lindsey and Mike actually achieved that goal. They were one of the most laid back couples we’ve ever photographed and I can’t tell you how happy that made me! I LOVE seeing my couples just relaxing, taking it all in and actually enjoying themselves! It’s something I always strive for. I was actually really nervous when I woke up on their wedding day because rain was in the forecast! Rain is never a good thing but whne you’re planning an outdoor ceremony, it DEFINITELY isn’t a good thing. But right before I left my house, I saw Lindsey and Mike had made the decision to still have their ceremony outdoors and for all their guests to bring their umbrellas! I LOVED that – it automatically set the tone for how the entire day was going to be. No matter what happens with the weather, we are getting married and can’t wait to see you there! Well, it all could not have gone better because the rain completely held off and they had their ceremony at the Barnegat lighthouse. What an incredible backdrop! It was a short and sweet ceremony – maybe one of the shortest I’ve ever photographed! (but to be fair, we all though rain was heading straight for us! lol) But just look at Mike’s face when Lindsey walked down the sandy aisle to him… what a look! He was in love and oh so happy. We were able to take ALL their portraits at the lighthouse, with perfect weather! These two even went out on the jetty to get photos with nothing but the beautiful ocean surronding them 🙂 You know I just love a couple that is down for anything! It was such a fun and lighthearted wedding day for such a relaxed and happy couple. At their core, they knew all they really wanted was a celebration of their love and marriage. I had the best time photographing Lindsey, Mike, their FUN bridal party and their beautiful wedding day and am thrilled to share my favorite images with you all today!
