I’ve been photographing engagement sessions for six years now and countless beach sessions! Believe it or not, this was my very first time photographing a couple at Sandy Hook! Wow, I am hooked (ha! get it? lol) I met up with Kaitlyn & Pat on a GORGEOUS Saturday evening and honestly, was a little nervous. Because it was so gorgeous out, I didn’t know what to expect at the beach…. would it still be crowded when we get there?? Turns out, we found the PERFECT empty spot on the beach for their photos and these two did not dissapoint. I absolutley fell in love with them during their client meeting. I could immediately see their connection and the way Patrick would rub his hand on Kaitlyn’s knee or even just look at her (during our meeting!)… they’re just so adorable together. So I knew photographing them would be SO easy and it was! And of course they were nervous beforehand… but they killed it!! I’m sure the beers on the beach helped kill the nerves 😉 Guys… you can DRINK on this beach! I am so going to back to Sandy Hook! 🙂 They chose this spot because it’s their beach, where they always come together. We ended their session overlooking the bay and the most gorgeous pink sunset… this is where they really wanted photos and you can see in their faces just how happy they were to be there, kissing and looking into each other’s eyes 🙂 Oh man, I’m getting all sappy! But I love these two, I LOVE their photos and can not wait to see them again in November when they get MARRIED!!! For now, enjoy my favorite images from their lovely engagement session!
