By now, most Brides are familiar with the concept of the First Look with your Groom on your wedding day. But did you know there are tons of other first looks you could do too? Even if you’re choosing not to do a First Look, you can still have fun and share a First look with someone else on! And the best part is you can do one of these first looks or ALL of them! Whatever you want, we make sure to put it into your timeline so we can grab those photos for you! This post has a few ideas for who else you can do a First Look with! 🙂
This is one of the most popular First Looks on a wedding day – having one with your Bridesmaids! It is SO fun to watch the reactions of your closest family & friends as they see you in your bridal beauty for the first time… and it’s always 10x more fun because they are the FIRST people seeing you look all gorgeous! These girls love you and their reactions are typically so fun and even emotional! It’s a great way to wrap up your getting ready portion of the day too 🙂
This is one of most EMOTIONAL first looks of a wedding day. Dad plays such an important part on the wedding day (he walks you down the aisle!) but while you’re getting ready, most of the time Dad is just hanging out in his suit waiting to get the ball rolling! So it’s a lot of fun when he can get dressed and come in and see you when you’re fully dressed. Who else is more special than a girl’s daddy?? And doesn’t he deserve to see you before all of your guests do (or even your Groom!). This part of the day gets me every time… some Dads can’t stop smiling ear to ear, some Dads instantly burst into tears (and promptly make everyone else cry too!!) and some Dads are simply STUNNED and have no words. No matter what, each reaction is so fun and special to capture and I highly recommend it!
Other Family Members!
Besides Dad, you have other family members that you LOVE and would LOVE to have their special reactions captured on camera so why not do First Looks with them? Whether it’s your mom or your grandparents, sibling, a special Aunt and Uncle, Niece or Godparent – WHOEVER you want and deeply care for, you can have a First Look with them! We’ve seen all of those and have loved how much it has meant not only to our Bride’s but the family member as well!
