Ryan & Jamie were married on September 22nd – the first day of fall. It was a gorgeous day with a gorgeous backdrop at the Waveny House in Connecticut. Jamie, a shoe designer , and Ryan, a cartoonist, were married with a wedding full of elegance and simplicity. Their wedding was nothing short of romantic with a simple ceremony and a first kiss as husband and wife that seemed to last forever. The gardens that surrounded Waveny House were perfect for them to get lost in and have a few moments to themselves before a fun reception – with one of the funniest Best Man toasts I’ve ever heard and a rocking dance floor!

Thank you to Caroline Frost for letting me tag along with you and Jackie.

Jamie’s wedding dress was gorgeous and patiently hung waiting to be worn

The bouquets were stunning… and so were Jamie’s shoes, which she designer herself of course!

somebody was peeking up at the bridal suite from below!

Jamie, seriously! so stunning!

I could not get enough of the Bridesmaid’s and their dresses… they looked so great!

it seemed overcast in the morning but ended up being the perfect day for their outdoor ceremony

with a three piece string quartet giving us the perfect background music for the ceremony

and the most adorable flower girls!

Ryan & Jamie’s reactions to seeing each other! i always love this part of the ceremony 🙂

while Jamie’s sisters were so happy to see her marry Ryan – her bridesmaids couldn’t help but let their emotions take over. so sweet!

Ryan’s brother performed their ceremony making it so personal and relaxing. he was a pro!

their kiss seemed to last forever! you could tell they missed each other in the morning 🙂

Jamie giving her father a sweet hug after the ceremony…

than it was off to take their pictures together just the two of them.

LOVE this picture!!!!

is their anything better than getting this genuine emotion captured?? just them being them!

the gardens at the Waveny House were so beautiful!

after this picture – they enjoyed a moment in the garden just the two of them away from the crowd. brides and grooms, ALWAYS take a moment alone on your wedding day! it goes so fast!

the details in the reception were simple – but so romantic! and i LOVE their guest book!

but the CAKES! yes plural!! 6 cakes AND their wedding cake! each of them gorgeous.

than after the dances and food – it was time to party!

loved Ryan dancing with his groomsmen [above] and Jamie dancing with her bridesmaids

this kid had the moves! everyone couldn’t get enough of him

song of the night that got the crowd pumped: “lets hear it for the boy” by denice williams!

I had such a blast at this wedding! Ryan & Jamie, congratulations! I am so honored to have been apart of their day and wish nothing but the best for you both in your marriage!
