I’m so excited to share Corie & Mark’s wedding day at The Grain House. It was the perfect mix of timeless charm, heartfelt moments, and joyful celebration on the most beautiful October day you could imagine! The morning of the wedding was filled with so much happiness and anticipation. From the moment I walked into the getting-ready suite, you could just feel it — that calm excitement and genuine joy that only comes when two people are truly ready to start forever together. When it was finally time for their first look, the moment couldn’t have been more perfect. As soon as Mark turned around and saw Corie, both of them just lit up. Their faces said everything — pure happiness, love, and a little bit of relief that the moment they’d been waiting for was finally here. They hugged, laughed, and took a few quiet moments just soaking it all in. It was one of those moments where you can’t help but smile behind the camera — they were just so happy to be together.
We originally had planned to take portraits at Cross Estate Gardens, but right before leaving, we discovered it was unexpectedly closed. We quickly pivoted and decided to do all of their portraits right at The Grain House instead — and honestly, it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly. The warm textures, garden paths, and rustic architecture of the venue created such a beautiful backdrop for every photo. Sometimes those unplanned moments turn out even better than you imagined. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Mark’s dad brought out his black Mustang convertible for portraits — such a classic touch.
Their bridal party was small and sweet, made up entirely of their siblings, which made the whole morning feel intimate and full of laughter. Everyone was so relaxed and genuinely happy to be celebrating together. Their outdoor ceremony was absolutely gorgeous — the sunlight filtering through the trees, the way Corie and Mark looked at each other as they exchanged vows — it was pure magic.
And then came the reception, filled with joyful energy, heartfelt toasts, and a packed dance floor. The highlight of the night was definitely the Hora, with everyone cheering, dancing in circles, and lifting Corie and Mark high into the air — such a fun and unforgettable moment! Even with a few unexpected twists, Corie and Mark’s day turned out beautifully. It was full of love, laughter, and the kind of genuine joy that makes every photograph shine.
Congratulations, Corie & Mark — your wedding day was everything it was meant to be and more! I wish you nothing but the best in your future together!!
