Some engagement sessions just feel extra special, and Emily & Scott’s was absolutely one of them. Despite a massive heat wave sweeping through New Jersey, these two brought so much joy, laughter, and love to their Princeton engagement session that the heat hardly mattered!

We started at one of their favorite spots — Labrynth Books in Princeton. It’s a cozy, book-filled haven that was the spot of their third date and one they’ve gone back to again and again. The quiet corners of the bookstore gave us the perfect chance to capture some sweet, candid moments that truly reflect who they are as a couple.

From there, we wandered through the beautiful campus of Princeton University. Between the iconic stone archways, tree-lined walkways, and historic architecture, it felt like the perfect backdrop for their love story. Even in the sweltering heat, Emily & Scott were full of smiles and made the session so much fun. To wrap up the day, we headed to PJS Pancake House, a favorite local spot of theirs. While we didn’t have pancakes this time, the cozy atmosphere was the perfect way to end the evening, sitting in their favorite booth and celebrating their session – and beating the heat!
