Spring Lake is one of my favorite beach towns for an engagement session and I’ve photographed engagement sessions there in every season – spring, summer, winter, and fall! I met Alex and Mark on the first day of Fall for their engagement session at the beach and that is the secret sauce to have engagement photos with absolutely NO ONE else around! This was their first time in Spring Lake and I’m so glad they trusted my recommendation because they loved it! The sun was glowing all around them from the minute we met up at Divine Park until it set on the beach and they just popped off every background!

What really popped off the camera was their chemistry together. The way they laughed together, the fact that they had no problem stealing kisses from one another, and the simple way they held hands were all effortless for these two. They confessed they never took photos together and were really nervous but I spotted NO nerves from my side of the camera! I only saw the sweetest love and affection! By the time we got to Spring Lake Beach, it was COMPLETELY empty and the sun was setting, casting a beautiful orange and pink glow in the sky. Notice how I threw every pose possible at them! Walk away! Spin Around! Pick her up! And they nailed each and every one! I can’t WAIT for their wedding day next summer!! Enjoy my favorites from their engagement session 🙂
