Ever since Jean Marie was a little girl, she had visited and loved her grandparents beautiful Victorian home in Butler, New Jersey. It was, after all, the home where her parents had their wedding photos taken and her grandparents before them. She knew she wanted it to play an important part of her engagement… and to make it the star of her engagement photos! In fact, it was one of the very first things Jean shared with me about their wedding. Her description of the house sounded like something out a of fairytale… “Amazing original woodwork throughout the house, stain glass windows, two round porches, and a huge shed that once housed horses.” My jaw dropped at the sound of that and pulling up to her grandparents’ house, it did not disappoint! We could have taken pictures for hours around that beautiful house. I’m so in love with their engagement photos and am so excited to share them with you!
Jean Marie & Nick – I hope you LOVE your photos as much as I do! Can not wait to photograph your wedding day next April!! 🙂
This plaque hands outside on the porch – how cute is that drawing? And how STUNNING is that house!?
The light on this porch was SO perfect!
They are the cutest!! 🙂
Oh gosh… it’s so hard to pick a favorite. I love all of these!
Jean said that wooden bird wind spinner had been there for as long as she could remember! Had to grab it in the picture 🙂
The prettiest engagement ring!
This one [above] is one of my favorites!
That horse shed.. I could have stayed there all day long! Love these photos!

See what I mean?? So many great spots!! I don’t know which photos I love more. On the shed? In front of the horse shed? Or these on the grass!?
Dreamy, dreamy light!
We stepped inside for a few…and found a picture of Jean’s parents on the lawn right in front on their wedding day!
Love all that woodwork!
This arch is just amazing!
