When we arrived at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown, any nerves we had were immediately erased. While we tried to get ahold of Allie’s sister to find out what room they were in – guess who found us standing out in the hall but the bride herself! She was as calm as could be and as we chatted with her, guess who walked by? Her groom! They spoke real quick, she teasing him for wearing her pink heart glasses she’d be wearing on their honeymoon, gave a quick kiss and parted ways. It was clear to me instantly this was going to be a very smooth and relaxed wedding day – and that made me even more excited! Photographing the girls getting ready was so fun … though Allie’s nerves began to build and she needed to take a few deep breaths to calm down, her girls kept her calm by giving the bride what she wanted. That was more “Pitch Perfect” being played in the hotel room!
When Allie slipped into her dress, the girls “ooh”ed and “ahh”ed! She truly was STUNNING in her dress & I couldn’t wait to see her groom’s reaction when he saw his beautiful bride. Their first look was adorable, with their friends and family looking on in anticipation. Frank turned to see his bride & they were exagerrated and excited but you could see the minute they embraced each other they suddenly were ready to do this. Get married. Together. Everything about their wedding day was flawless and beautiful – and having their sweet bulldog, Harold, there to keep them company during their portraits was the icing on the cake! Jose and I had the BEST time photographing their wedding day and going through their pictures just makes me want to do it all over again.
Allie & Frank – I wish you a lifetime of happiness! Look through the photos and not only see your love shine through but ALL the love you were surrounded by that day. How excited people were to finally see you two become one 🙂
Love their invitations… and those hysterical stickers that look JUST LIKE THEM! lol
Frank hooked his guys up with Air Jordans! Jose was in HEAVEN shooting these!
It will forever bogle my mind how Allie’s sister and maid of honor made the absolute PERFECT bow in the back of her dress lol I was truly amazed
Allie & Frank’s dog, Harold, joined us at the park for portraits and it was so fun to see him again!
Stunning. Just stunning!
Their first look was absolutely adorable. They are so playful with each other and had me laughing along with them
Allie had such a fun group of bridesmaids – and those cobalt blue dresses were so pretty!
Loved these guys!
The grounds of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown are beautiful, we could have shot there all day long.
LOVE!!
Time for their ceremony!
Oh gosh.. I love these photos of Frank and his mom so much, I don’t know which one I love more!
Time for the HORA!! Love Frank’s face of pure fear lol
Ssh.. Frank’s family is known for smashing cakes in each others faces at all family events and that was the LAST thing Allie wanted so they quickly snuck in the cake cutting than quickly rolled it away 🙂 luckily, no cake was smashed.
What a reception! They danced to EVERYTHING! Gangham style, the cupid shuffle, you name it… they danced it!
The photo [above] means the world to me… THREE of my brides in one shot! Love them 🙂
