Allaire State Park has quickly become one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions – ESPECIALLY in the fall! There is no shortage of trees with lovely foliage and all the adorable buildings around it are great backdrops as well! Gabi & Mike knew right away they wanted their engagement photos to be there and we came on the perfect day! We decided on an early morning session since it wouldn’t be as crowded and the light in the morning is just gorgeous! The only thing we SHOULD have checked was the time the park would open lol we may have been sitting around for a whole hour waiting for it to open but that didn’t ruin us from having a great time taking their photos!

Gabi & Mike are planning a whiskey-themed, colorful fall wedding day next year and I know these photos will tie in perfectly with their wedding day! (look out for the whiskeyesque barrels we just happened to stumble upon while walking around Allaire State Park – how PERFECT is that!?) I just loved the custom wedding signs they brought along for their session, made by Love Grace Calligraphy (who also happens to be one of my past Brides! SO AWESOME!) The signs that read “love you infinity, love you beyond” are just perfect for them… love you beyond is actually engraved into Gabi’s engagement ring! It’s a saying they love, a saying they use and a saying they will now hold near and dear to their hearts so of COURSE it had to be incorporated in to their engagement session! I also just LOVED how colorful this session is! Between the foliage and their excellent choice of outfits, this session screams fall and puts you right in the mood for this beautiful season 🙂

I feel so lucky that Gabi and Mike have chosen me for their wedding day! Not only are they two of the nicest and sweetest people but they are just so sweet together, it was so fun spending the morning with them, hearing more about their wedding day plans and getting to know them better. From the minute I received Gabi’s email I knew she was my bride and shooting their engagement photos solidified that even more!
