My cheeks hurt SO much while I was editing Meghan & Eric’s engagement session because I could not. stop. smiling looking at these two! They are SO smitten with each other and it is just the cutest thing ever. I could not get over how adorable they were together during their session and I know you’ll think I’m just saying this because my couples are the best but it’s TRUE!! lol They were SO giddy and non stop giggling anytime I asked them to look at each other or get nose to nose! It was the cutest thing ever… and I was definitely not mad about it because I KNEW it was going to make their pictures look ten times sweeter! 🙂

My couples really are the best though 🙂 Meghan & Eric found me through TWO of my past Bride’s, Amy & Diana! While we were shooting Diana & Ed’s wedding day this summer, the day before we were scheduled to meet, I found out Meghan and Eric were there and we had been photographing them the entire time!! I suddenly became nervous, hoping Jose and I didn’t look too crazy, but they were the sweetest and before we knew it – they were booking us for their wedding day next year! Their proposal story is HILARIOUS and now that I know them, it’s so them! Eric completely caught Meghan off guard so when he called Meghan into the other room while she was preparing dinner and she walked in to find him on one knee, she screamed “NOOOO!!!” and ran the other way! lol It was a good no though! It was a no like “NO WAY!! THIS IS HAPPENING!? NOOO!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!” and she then said “are you sure??” lol How cute is that. Eric stayed on that knee though and of course he was sure! And she was so excited she shrieked out “feel my heart, it’s racing!” Meanwhile poor Eric’s heart was racing TWICE as fast! lol It’s the PERFECT engagement story and I’m sure one they will never forget! lol

Eric is a volunteer fireman and they knew they wanted to incorporate that into their engagement photos. This wasn’t just any firetruck though, it was a gorgeous antique firetruck and it stole the show every where we brought it! I LOVE that firetruck red in photos – it’s the perfect pop of color 🙂 Besides the firetruck as their backdrop, the adorable town of Island Heights and it’s views of the river were also our backdrop. I just LOVED the blue of the river bouncing off the blue they wore. This session is going to hurt your mouth because it’s all just so pretty and Meghan & Eric’s smiles are SO contagious! You’ll be smiling right along with them, I promise!! 🙂
