SuAnn & Elvin [The Manor West Orange, NJ Wedding Photographer]

For nearly two decades, SuAnn & Elvin have been in each other’s lives. How incredible is THAT? They got engaged almost 12 years after their first date and started to plan their wedding day… and then fate stepped in and the baby came first 🙂 Little baby Zayden was born and wedding was put on the back burner. That’s okay though – I’m sure a child means ten times more than a wedding ring! But somewhere along the way they knew they wanted it to still be official and finally, they began to officially plan their wedding day! I was the lucky photographer they chose to capture that day and it was such a joy to be a part of their celebration 🙂

Even though they’ve been together for so long, they knew they still wanted a beautiful celebration! And everything about SuAnn & Elvin’s wedding day was just that – beautiful! The GORGEOUS bouquets and centerpieces, the grooms men’s sharp gray suits (I LOVED that color gray on them all!) and the bridesmaids two shades of purple – have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE purple on a wedding day?? Such a pretty, unique hue! It was the perfect color for their fall wedding. Oh and speaking of fall – it was the PERFECT fall day. The days before their wedding day were rainy, windy and cold so I was preparing myself for another unpredictable October day but it was 65 degrees and sunny ALL day long! Couldn’t have asked for a better day for these two! It made their photos ten times more fun for them and their fun Bridal Party!

Theirs was MAYBE the shortest ceremony I’ve ever witnessed! I swear it was less than 10 minutes 🙂 But Elvin’s cousin, their officiant, was able to squeeze in all of the sweetest (and funniest!) things to say about these two in that amount of time 🙂 We blinked and they were officially husband and wife! And as important as their ceremony was, what they REALLY were excited for was their party! The dance floor on the Manor was packed all night long! I mean – the last photo in this post sums it up perfectly! Even Z, their son, was dancing and my favorite part of their wedding day was watching him cut the wedding cake with his mom and dad. He even snuck in a lick of the frosting 😉 This wedding day was so memorable and beautiful and we had so much FUN photographing it for these two! Now it’s time to share my favorite photos from their wedding day!
