Emily and Scott’s wedding day at the farmhouse was the perfect reflection of who they are—warm, intentional, fun, and completely their own. It was a beautiful August afternoon, the kind of summer day that wraps you in light and lingers long into the evening. Before the celebrations began, Emily and Scott chose to exchange their vows privately. Away from the bustle, they shared their first look, handwritten vow, and their promises unfolding quietly and personally. Later, during their ceremony, they again exchanged cards they’d written to each other and those words became the heart of their celebration, a reminder that their love story is built on authenticity and thoughtfulness.
I absolutely fell in LOVE with their venue, The Farmhouse. It was dressed in sage green and purple, a palette that softened the rustic charm of the space and echoed throughout the details—from the florals to the table settings. The day felt both timeless and fresh, with laughter spilling from every corner.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, guests gathered for their reception, which was filled with heartfelt moments and plenty of celebration. Emily and Scott shared their first dance surrounded by the warm glow of farmhouse lights, swaying together as if no one else was in the room. Parent dances followed, each one full of emotion and tender glances that brought both smiles and happy tears. Guests raised their glasses during the toasts, sharing stories, laughter, and well-wishes that painted a beautiful picture of the love and support surrounding these two. Of course, Scott and his groomsmen had their share of fun too—bringing their love of wrestling into the mix with their toasts, adding plenty of humor and unforgettable energy to the day.
And when the last song of the night came on—Van Halen’s “Dreams”—everyone hit the dance floor one more time. It was the perfect anthem to close out a day that was all about hope, love, and stepping into the future together. Emily and Scott’s farmhouse wedding was more than just a day—it was an experience, a memory stitched together with intention, joy, and a whole lot of love. Congratulations to you both on the most wonderful start to your marriage!!
