Anna & Dan are married and it was a beautiful wedding day but when the day began, we didn’t know it would be! All week long leading to their wedding day we could see Hurricane Debby was heading our way and of all the days of the week, their day was not looking good. Not only was it going to rain but it was going to be WINDY. And when we woke up that morning, the wind was kicking and the rain was coming. It was also humid! It was like ALL the elements were working against us. BUT when we all got to their venue, The Liberty House… it was like it all disappeared. No rain, just a little wind, and the humidity lightened. We decided to go with our initial plans and take as many photos as we could outside until the weather moved us inside for the ceremony… but that moment never happened! We had great weather the whole time for all of their portraits! Even the fog lifted and the skyline showed off 🙂

Anna and Dan are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met! They are just so down-to-earth and friendly and their love for each other is so sweet. They didn’t think they’d cry much on their wedding day, but his eyes welled up when Dan turned around and saw Anna during their first look. And as she walked down the aisle to him during their ceremony, the rush of emotions hit the both of them and it was so touching watching them both get emotional. Before we knew it, they were announced husband and wife! Their flower girl threw petals up at them as they shared their “first kiss” and then it was off to cocktail hour! Their dog, Archie, couldn’t make their wedding day but his presence was known – guests sipped on their drinks with Archie’s face on the cocktail napkins and Archie even snuck a lick of their wedding cake 😉 Both Anna and Dan’s families are Greek so it was fun to see them tie in some Greek dancing and money thrown to them as they danced with their parents! It ended up being the most wonderful wedding day and I’m so excited to share my favorites today!
