Fall weddings are just unmatched but this fall is giving us a run for our money. For the fifth weekend in a row, it was calling for a rainy wedding day! But as we arrived to the hotel where Mackenzie and Sebastian were getting ready, we could see the clouds literally dissapearing from the sky and blue skies emerging! Were we about to get lucky?? For a while that morning there was ZERO rain! And then right as we were getting ready to do their first look, it started to rain. But that didn’t matter – these two were getting married!! With a huge smile on her face, Mackenzie walked down the stairs of the Bridgewater Manor towards her husband. And with tears in his eyes, he turned around to see his GORGEOUS Bride standing there! They kissed, hugged and privately exchanged their vows together which I love! I love that they took that moment alone together to say everything they want to say. While it drizzled, we stayed covered outside for photos and all of a sudden while photographing their bridal party – the sun came out!!! Speaking of bridal parties, this bridal party looked SO sharp! I LOVED the dessert rose color Mackenzie’s bridesmaids wore and Sebastian’s velvet suit was perfection. Nothing pops against foliage like a velvet suit!
Soon it was time for them to get married!! The rain stayed away and they got to have their ceremony outdoors with the prettiest foliage surrounding them. They had family and friends travel from all over to be at their wedding, including Sebastian’s family from Columbia! And I loved that they had parts of their ceremony in both English and Spanish so everyone could participate and enjoy it with them 🙂 They had a sand ceremony with sand from the places that mean the most to them, including Cape May where they got engaged! And after they were pronounced husband and wife, it was time to party! After their bridal party entered the reception with some of the BEST entrances ever – they entered their reception with the loudest rupture of applause from their guests!! And the dance floor opened and not ONCE was it empty! I met these two last year when I photographed Mackenzie’s friends, Kaitlyn and Walter’s wedding and I REMEMBERED seeing Mackenzie and Sebastian on the dance floor so I knew this was going to be a fantastic dance floor and it did not disappoint! The entire day was amazing from start to finish and I’m so excited to be sharing my favorite images from it all today on the blog! Mackenzie and Sebastian, CONGRATULATIONS!!! You two are so perfect and beautiful together and I wish you nothing but the best in your marriage!!
