Spring engagement session is in full swing and Rachel & Brandon have the quintessential spring engagement photos – with cherry blossoms! Rachel & Brandon booked me for their wedding day maybe a month ago and we IMMEDIATELY started to plan to take their engagement photos at Branch Brook Park. We looked at the calendar, watched the live cam, and luckily – Rachel worked nearby and was able to check up on the trees! lol We took this assignment seriously! We had to make sure we planned accordingly not just because cherry blossoms are only in bloom for maybe 3 weeks but because they also have jobs too! lol But it paid off because we scheduled their session PERFECTLY as the cherry blossoms bloomed! We went on a beautiful Monday, so it wasn’t crazy crowded and wow wow wow – it was worth all the planning!!

Rachel & Brandon brought along their ADORABLE dog, Freddy along for photos and he did SO great!! He did so great, would you believe me if I said he was SO excited and could barely sit! It was the beautiful weather that had him hyper I’m sure lol. But it was so fun getting him in for a few photos! And I give credit to their dog BUT Rachel and Brandon did kill it too! lol I honestly have no idea if they had any nerves about taking photos because I detected ZERO. They were flawlessly natural together – the moments they genuinely hugged and laughed together. I saw it through the camera and just DIED! I loved getting to know these two better and can’t wait for their wedding day!! Enjoy my favorites from their engagement session!
