Ohhh this day! I am so excited to share Tegan & Nico’s wedding day with you! These two had the most perfect day for a wedding on the beach! Their first date was on the exact same beach 7 years earlier where they ended up jumping into the FREEZING ocean waters together. These two met through their mutual love of CrossFit and so I feel like jumping in cold ocean water was nothing for them lol but it ended up being the start of everything for their relationship! When it was time to plan their wedding, they decided on the same beach they shared their first date and to say it was a beautiful ceremony is a severe understatement. Watching Nico tear up as Tegan walked towards him was so special. Their vows to each other were personalized and so touching and I couldn’t even believe the sunset that surrounded us as they got married on the beach. I watched as the sky slowly turned from bright blue to pink and purple and it was just the dreamiest!!

So much of their love story is centered around FAMILY. Nico is a twin and the two of them met through his brother, Vincenzo. Tegan & Nico now share their wedding day with her grandparents, who celebrated their 39th anniversary together on their wedding. They celebrated the moment by sharing a slow dance with her grandparents – queue all the tears!! Nico’s mom made all the favors herself which included homemade Italian cookies and Limoncello! Their bridal parties were made up entirely of their siblings (they EACH are the oldest of 6!) and when Tegan’s brother couldn’t make their wedding, they made a cardboard cutout of him so he’d be there in spirit! lol I love how much they value their families, it just shows how important a part it will play in their marriage. Not only that but how LOVED these two are by everyone that knows them. There wasn’t a dry eye on the beach as they exchanged vows or shared their first dance. And don’t get me started on the toasts! I was crying along with them. They INSTANTLY make you feel like family so I felt like I’d seen their whole love story within the 8 hours we were there! lol
