Kaitlyn and Walter’s wedding day was such an incredible one and a long-awaited one at that! These two have been together since they were THIRTEEN!! It’s not that rare that I photograph high school sweethearts but middle school sweethearts?? That’s pretty rare! It was so fun to hear their families’ stories of how they’ve known these two since they were teenagers and when you’re younger, it’s hard to know if a couple would end up marrying each other but that actually happened for these two!

When you imagine a JULY wedding day, you imagine it to be SCORCHING hot and sunny. And while it definitely was hot, we got really lucky with how breezy it ended up being! Their ceremony was outdoors at The Terraview at Stroudsmoor Country Inn and it was so exciting watching Kaitlyn walk down the aisle toward Walter. They kept things traditional and didn’t do a first look so just knowing this was the first time they saw each other all day was so exciting!! Kaitlyn is Jewish so the ceremony ended with Walter breaking the glass and finally after they waited so long, they were married!! We were able to get all their portraits done with the most incredible backdrop of the Pocono Mountains behind them before it POURED during their cocktail hour – just a little bit of good luck if you ask me 😉

Their reception was a BLAST! Their bridal party came in with some of the best entrances to a bridal party – on scooters, popping confetti, on roller blades, wearing cowboy boots and playing fiddles! lol This bridal party set the bar!! Kaitlyn & Walter shared their first dance as husband and wife and after the perfect sets of toasts, while dancing on the dance floor these two New York Rangers fans had the surprise of the night – Dancin’ Larry showed up!!! If you’ve been to a Rangers game, you KNOW him as an MSG staple!! It was so fun seeing the SHOCK on their faces!! lol Dancin Larry even stayed long enough to dance the horah! lol It was such an incredible day and it really shows in their photos just how much fun these two have together and how LOVED they are by all who know them 🙂 Kaitlyn & Walter, congratulations!!! Wishing you both nothing but endless joy, laughter, and happiness!!
