After being together for nearly 11 years, Nicole & Mark are finally engaged and planning their wedding day! Mark proposed to Nicole while they were hiking, something they love to do together! Even though they had been together for so long, it was still shocking to Nicole. And of course she gladly said yes 🙂 They channeled their love of hiking into their engagement session! When I first spoke to them over zoom, they already knew where they wanted their engagement session – at Bear Mountain State Park! They also knew they didn’t want a hot summer session but instead a cooler engagement session. What they didn’t know is they would get THE best foliage ever in their photos! I mean, my gosh. These photos are so picturesque and epic, it almost looks like they’re standing in front of a fake backdrop! lol
We had the most perfect fall day – blue skies, a little chill in the air, vibrant foliage. They couldn’t have asked for a better day! We started at the top of the mountain and worked our way down, the whole time talking about their wedding plans and getting to know each other. Nicole grew up at her families beloved summer house in the mountains, not far from Bear Mountain, and they’ve both grown to love the area – They even thought about having their wedding day at Bear Mountain but instead knew this would be an incredible spot for fall engagement photos. These two started dating 10 years ago in January and will be getting married in January 2023! They embrace the cold, which is so fun and refreshing. I can’t WAIT to see these two again on their wedding day!! Enjoy my favorites from their engagement session! 🙂
